2. Our Objectives

This Professional Service has the following objectives:

• To understand your exact needs so we satisfy them in the most effective way.
• To obtain from you copies of the information relevant to:
  • the actual job you intend to apply for,
  • or the type of job you are seeking to secure,

    i.e.

    • your draft CV.
    • your draft covering letter
    • job advertisement – where applicable
    • job specification – when available
    • application details – where applicable
• To select which of our Professional Coaches will be the most suitable to work with you and is the most closely aligned to your specific career circumstances and CV requirements.
• For your nominated Professional Coach to work with you in order to create an outstanding CV that will maximise the possibility of you being invited to interview for the job of your choice.
• To agree with you the need for any further support and guidance.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Provide us with all relevant information

• Respond to our confirmation of fee payable asap, preferably within 24 hours

• Collaborate effectively with your Professional Coach

• Reflect upon any additional advice and guidance provided by your Professional Coach.

4. Our Methods

 
STEP 1

Your initial contact - with IIYC Ltd is likely to be via email or telephone. Our initial step is therefore to ensure we completely understand your request for professional help and agree with you exactly how you would like us to help you.

STEP 2

Ensure all Appropriate Information – is obtained from you in order to create the most suitable CV to promote your suitability for the job of your choice.

Evaluate the amount of time – we need to devote to produce an outstanding CV and confirm our fee to you.

Please note - we are not a “CV factory” and therefore do not have pre-set fees for creating your CV. Each CV created by one of our Professional Coaches will reflect your key capabilities and promote your suitability in the most effective manner. The actual fee to produce your individual CV will be confirmed prior to any work being undertaken.

Free Review of Your Covering Letter – We are very happy to review your draft Covering Letter you intend to submit with your CV and provide feedback to enable you to make recommended amendments yourself. Alternatively, you are free to ask the Professional Coach working with you to create a new Covering Letter.

Reduced Fee for New CV and Covering Letter - Should you wish us to create both documents then a specially reduced fee will be agreed with you. 

STEP 3

Confirm our fee – to you resulting from the above  exchange of information

Seek your agreement - to proceed and to allocate the most appropriate Professional Coach for you and your requirements.

Payment of fee – by Client to IIYC, by means of an electronic bank transfer by BACS, Debit or Credit Card, the choice is yours.

IIYC will post an invoice - to you as confirmation of full payment.

STEP 4

 Create an outstanding CV – the Professional Coach selected for you will telephone you to introduce herself / himself to you.

He / she will discuss and clarify your requirements to ensure the CV they will produce completely reflects your needs and requirements.

We can normally produce an outstanding CV within 24 hours, but it can take longer for a Client whose circumstances are more complex. 

Your draft CV will be emailed, or posted to you for review.

The need for any amendments will be discussed and where agreed implemented through to your confirmation of complete approval.

STEP 5

Please Communicate the Result – of your job application to your Professional Coach who takes great personal pride in helping you secure an interview for the job of your choice.

Your Professional Coach will make every effort to create an outstanding CV that is designed to maximise your chances of being selected for an interview. However, it is not realistic for your selection to be guaranteed as it’s always a competitive situation and only the employer has a complete view of all applications.   

Successful? - Congratulations. All the value of Investing In Your Career will have paid off and now you can look forward to enjoying your new job.

Not successful? – It can happen. However feel free to discuss the situation with your Professional Coach and see if there is any further help and support appropriate to aid you to secure the job opportunity of your choice.

STEP 6

Evaluation – Please help us to help others by completing a short questionnaire designed to help IIYC continue to improve the quality of services it provides other Clients.

5. Our Fee

• Each client’s needs are different – and so the amount of time we need to devote to producing an outstanding CV for each Client varies according to the degree of complexity. An exact fee will always be confirmed to you once we have a complete picture of your individual situation.

• Reduced Fee for New CV and Covering Letter - Should you wish us to create both documents then a specially reduced fee will be agreed with you. 

• Value for money? Our fee is often only a fraction of 1 day’s pay for many Clients. Quite a modest investment for such an important result.

• Money Back Guarantee - If for any reason you think the service you have received from Invest In your Career Ltd has failed to be delivered in accordance with our stated Values, Professional Services, or our Terms and Conditions then we will provide you with a full refund of your fee.
