This Professional Service has the following objectives:

• To understand your exact needs so we satisfy them in the most effective way.
• To obtain from you copies of the information relevant to:
  • the actual job you intend to apply for,
  • or the type of job you are seeking to secure,

    i.e.

    • your draft CV.
    • your draft covering letter
    • job advertisement – where applicable
    • job specification – when available
    • application details – where applicable
• To select which of our Professional Coaches will be the most suitable to work with you and most closely aligned to your specific career circumstances and interview requirements.
• For your nominated Professional Coach to create an Action Plan that explains exactly how he / she will work with you and your responsibilities in this partnership in order to maximise the possibility of you securing the job for which you will be interviewed.
• To agree the Action Plan and implement it with you on a timely basis complete with continuing support and guidance.

3.  Your Responsibilities

• Respond to our confirmation of fee payable asap, preferably within 24 hours

→ In order your Action Plan is created without unnecessary delay

• Respond to Action Plan asap

→ Unnecessary delays should be avoided

• To effectively complete all preparation work as detailed in your Action Plan

• Listen very carefully to the feedback, guidance and support provided by your Professional Coach at your meeting

→ Your Professional Coach will provide very detailed feedback and support. He / she also has an absolute passion for your success

• Reflect upon the feedback and rehearsal ready to give a real block-buster performance at your actual interview.

4. Our Methods

 
STEP 1

Your initial contact - with IIYC Ltd is likely to be via email or telephone. Our initial step is therefore to ensure we completely understand your request for professional help and agree with you exactly how you would like us to help you.

STEP 2

Ensure all Appropriate Information – is obtained from you in order to create the most suitable Action Plan aligned to yourself and your unique requirements.

Evaluate the amount of time – we need to devote to create and implement your Action Plan designed to build your capability, confidence and capacity to secure the job opportunity of your choice.

STEP 3

Confirm our fee – resulting from the above

Seek your agreement - to proceed and to allocate the most appropriate Professional Coach for you and your requirements.

Payment of fee – by Client to IIYC, by means of an electronic bank transfer by BACS, Debit or Credit Card, the choice is yours.

IIYC will post an invoice - to you as confirmation of full payment.

STEP 4

Creation of your Action Plan – the Professional Coach allocated to you will telephone you to introduce herself / himself to you.

He / she will discuss and clarify your requirements to ensure the Action Plan they will produce for you completely reflects your needs and requirements.

Normally you will have about a week’s notice about a forthcoming interview and so we are quite used to completing all aspects of the Action Plan within this timescale.

We can normally progress an Action Plan in line with each Client’s preferred timescales, but try to give us as much time possible. 

The Action Plan will clearly set out the preparation you need to undertake in readiness for the face to face meeting, together with the accountabilities of the Professional Coach.

Your Action Plan will be emailed to you for final approval.

STEP 5

Implementation of Your Action Plan – will be progressed in line with the timescales agreed with your Professional Coach and detailed in your Action Plan.

Our team of Professional Coaches are geographically well placed to meet Clients in the South, Midlands and North of the UK. The exact location for the face to face meeting will be agreed with you in advance and is often a ‘half-way house’ suitable for both parties.

The exact location is normally a convenient hotel where we utilise a secluded part of a public area. This works well as it enables a private conversation to take place without incurring the additional cost of room hire. 

Your Face to Face meeting – will last at least 2 hours and this will include at least one sometimes two dress rehearsals / mock interview.  Your Action Plan will contain full details of how you must prepare for this meeting so you will not have any surprises – except pleasant ones.

STEP 6

Continued contact and support – will be maintained by your Professional Coach right up to, and after, the all important interview with the prospective employer.

Please Communicate the Result – of your interview to your Professional Coach as soon as possible.

Unless something has drastically gone wrong on the day, and it occasionally can happen, then you should be confident that you will have been coached and supported to have delivered the best interview performance of your life.

Successful? - Congratulations. All the benefits and value of Investing In Your Career will have paid off and now you can relax and enjoy your new job.

Not successful? – It can happen. Nevertheless, we will discuss the whole situation with you and agree the need for any further help and support to aid you to secure the job opportunity of your choice.

Evaluation – Please help us to help others by completing a short questionnaire designed to help IIYC continue to improve the quality of services it provides other Clients.

5. Our Fee

• Our exact fee – will be confirmed before you make a commitment to this Professional Service. The fee is inclusive of:-
  • Preparation of your unique ‘Action Plan’ by your Professional Coach
  • Face to face meeting with your Professional Coach so he/she can undertake several ‘mock’ interviews and provide feedback on your interview style and the need for any improvements to help your success.
  • Full on-line and telephone support from initial contact right through to your actual interview and commencement with your new employer.
  • Provision of all the above on a time scale in line with your requirements.
    
    
• Value for money? Our fee is normally equivalent to around a day's pay for many Clients. Quite a modest but very important investment for such results.
